In the land of suds, where the water flows,
I dipped my toe, and oh how it glows!
With lavender scents, and the warmth of the haze,
I settled in for a very long phase.
With a puff, I entered the foam-filled realm,
Like a captain aboard an absurdly soft helm.
Bubble dragons danced, and the tap water sighed,
As I laughed with my rubber duck side by side.
But time slipped away, like a soap-slicked mirage,
As I pondered the wisdom of deep philosophical collage.
“Why is a bathtub just a water-filled chair?”
“Does my shampoo bottle really care?”
With each whimsically concocted thought, oh so bright,
The hours piled up like a festive delight.
I took one more drag, and the bubbles took flight,
While the clock on the wall blinked murderously tight.
Friends checking in, “Are you lost in the deep?”
I called back, quite feebly, “Just having a peep!”
Days could pass here, in my sudsy embrace,
As I ponder my life choices while floating in grace.
Then the water turned cold, a dreadful old trick,
Feeling like seaweed, I shivered and kicked.
With a sigh and a splutter, I made my retreat,
My bubble bath saga, quite the stoned feat!
So heed my advice, dear stoner of glee,
Set a timer, or you may miss your next spree.
For a bubble bath's joys can stretch far too long,
And leave you in suds, where all reason is gone!
