The Great Midnight Munchies Odyssey

In the still of night, with a munchy plight, I donned my cloak of snack desires, With eyes like saucers, the fridge was my fortress, To quench my hunger's raging fires.

Behold! A noble quest, I declared with zest, "Onward to the land of chips and dips!" With popcorn as my steed, and milkshakes to feed, I galloped with culinary tips.

The path was fraught with shadows and fright, Beware the cat, a fearsome knight! With stealth, I crept, while my heart adept, Danced like a drum, in the late-night light.

Onward, I strode, a hero bestowed, Through lands of pizza rolls and frozen peas, But lo! A dragon, made of taco wrappers, Blocked my path with its cheesy decrees.

“Fear not, noble beast, for I come in peace, With nachos to share and salsa divine!” We feasted in glee, my new friend and me, Two warriors lost to the winds of time.

As morning dawned, with a belly so fond, I stumbled back home, a hero just made, With crumbs on my cloak of righteous hopes, I realized that snacks in the night must be paid!

So heed my tale, when the hour is frail, Should cravings arise, don’t fight the allure, Embrace the delight, through the dark of the night, For snacks are the treasure—we can all endure!
