The High-Flying Fumble: A Pilot’s Mellow Misadventure

In a cockpit of pixels, he took his seat,

With snacks by his side, he thought he was neat.

His eyes like saucers, as he sparked up a J,

“I’m about to ace this! Just watch me slay!”

Flaps set to “go,” the engines roared loud,

As he launched with a grin that was goofy, not proud.

But soon he was soaring, up high in the clouds,

Laughing so hard, he forgot all the crowds.

“Look at me glide!” he declared with a cheer,

But the joystick slipped, and he veered off with fear.

“Uh-oh, my dog!” was his first thought to shriek,

As he crashed into mountains, “Technical tweak!”

With each wild maneuver, the spectators roared,

“Is this a flight sim or a wacky cartoon storage?”

He looped through some rainbows, and dove through a tree,

“This must be the future! I’m flying for free!”

Then back to the ground, at a comical pace,

He landed so lopsided — a real “graceful” case.

“Get me a trophy!” he shouted with glee,

While the judges just grinned, “This guy’s high on spree!”

So remember this story when you want to compete,

Being high in the cockpit can’t possibly beat,

The careful precision of pilots who train,

But it sure makes for laughter — and a good dose of pain!
