In a vineyard lush where the grapes do shine,
We gathered our pals for a taste of the vine.
With glasses held high and a splash of delight,
We swirled, we sipped, oh what a fine night!
But little did we know, just beneath the calm skies,
Were edibles lurking with mischievous lies.
“Oh look at this bottle!” one cheered with a grin,
As a chocolate square called, “Come on, just dive in!”
The Merlot was bold, with hints of the berry,
But soon we were lost in discussions quite hairy.
“Do grapes really dream?” one pondered with glee,
While another recited the secrets of brie.
“What if wine had feelings, would it cry or would it laugh?”
As we philosophized over cheese and a gaff.
The vintner stood stunned, with eyes wide and round,
Witnessing chaos where wisdom was found.
“Let’s pair this with laughter!” another toast chimed,
As we debated if broccoli was simply maligned.
The cabernet flowed, but so did our thoughts,
On life, on love, and all that we ought!
With giggles erupting and logic astray,
We concluded that wine is just juice gone astray.
As the sun dipped low, and our senses took flight,
Who knew getting lifted could feel so polite?
So here’s to that night, where the grapes danced in glee,
And the laughter took reign over varietals of brie.
For when wine meets the bliss of a sweet edible treat,
You’ll find wisdom’s a circle—no need for a seat!
