In a quaint little town, where the sun always gleamed,
Lived a dog walker named Jerry, with dreams that were themed,
He rolled up some green, then took a deep drag,
And soon he'd be laughing, with each wagging flag.
With a leash in each hand, he set out with a cheer,
Just him and the pups, with nothing to fear,
There was Baxter the Beagle, and Fido the furry,
And Peggy the Poodle, who nibbled on curry.
"Oh, hello there, my friends!" Jerry giggled and squeaked,
"Let’s bound through the park, we’ve got time for a streak!"
As he skipped like a kid through the fields so wide,
The dogs dashed around him, tails wagging with pride.
With the munchies now kicking, he found a great treat,
A lost slice of pizza, oh what luck, what a feat!
The pups howled with glee, as they joined in the fun,
“Grab a paw, let’s feast!” Jerry cried, “What a run!”
From a lab named Louie who loved to play fetch,
To a spaniel named Charlie, cunning and sketch,
Jerry became besties with each fluffy soul,
Sharing tales about squirrels and who’s got the most troll.
With giggles and barks, they roamed landscapes anew,
While Jerry concocted some wild doggy brew,
“A biscuit with bacon and maybe a bone,”
They nodded in unison, “We’ll make it our own!”
As the sun started setting, the sky filled with gold,
Jerry puffed on his toke—and the magic took hold,
“Let’s howl at the moon, my canine comrades!”
And the pups offered howls that would rival brass bands.
So here's to the dog walker, high in delight,
Who became best buds with his pups every night,
Through laughter and leashes, they roamed without care,
In a world full of dogs, there’s enough love to share!
