The Zookeeper's Blazing Adventures

At dawn he wakes, a little late, With munchies calling, "Grab a bite!" A quick snack from the fridge awaits, He rolls a joint, it feels so right, Then off he goes to furry fate, High as a kite, oh what a sight!

Gorillas stare with knowing grins, As he stumbles past their leafy lair, They whisper, "Look at the zookeeper’s spins!" He chuckles, thinks, “They’re in for a scare!” With monkeys plotting all their sins, And snacks half-eaten, he’s unaware.

The tigers yawn, their eyes aglow, With visions of a meaty feast, He tosses them some carrots, though, Thinking they won’t find it least. A lion laughs, "What’s this, a show? I wanted steak, not a rabbit feast!"

Next, he wanders to the birdhouse, Entranced by colors, bright and bold, He talks to every parrot—loud mouse! In their wisecracks, truth unfolds. With feathers fluttering, cheeky spouse, He’s now their joke—oh, how they scold!

His shift drags on, in a blur of fun, With every fudge, the day unwinds, He dreams of snacks—when will it be done? But penguins march, oh so aligned! They waddle past, a comedy run, And he can’t help but lose his mind.

As sunset falls, he heads back home, Exhausted from the giggles shared, With visions of the zoo, he’ll roam, In memory of the laughs declared. Next morning’s wake is sure to comb Through hazy thoughts, where he compared!
