Oh noble sage of wisdom’s tree,
With lecture notes that less resemble clarity,
You stride into class, a grin on your face,
For you’ve sampled the wares of that herbaceous embrace.
“Good morning,” you slur, with a twinkle in eye,
As students gaze wide, exchanging a high sigh.
Your PowerPoint slides, a colorful blur,
Of cat memes and dinosaurs – oh, what a stir!
“Let’s discuss quantum mechanics!” you aim to decree,
But forget what you meant, and old Schrödinger’s a kitty!
With laughter erupting, they roll in their seats,
As you ponder the mysteries of socks and their beats.
“Now, if you observe,” you eloquently say,
“The particles dance in a very groovy way!”
And hands shoot up, for confusion is rife,
“What’s the homework, professor?” “Uh, be one with life!”
As the bell rings at last, and the students all cheer,
You float out the door, with a smile from ear to ear.
For they’ve learned something special, in ways unforeseen,
That knowledge and laughter are truly the green!
