There once was a barkeep named Clyde,
Who to work every day would glide.
With a grin and a sway,
He’d mix drinks all day,
But served pickles when folks asked for rye!
His cocktails were never quite right,
With muddled mint garnished in spite.
“Two shots in a glass!”
He'd say with a laugh,
“Just add soda – it’ll taste outta sight!”
But the patrons would chuckle and cheer,
“Oh Clyde, we’re just glad you are here!”
With a wink and a grin,
He’d pour gin with a spin,
And they’d leave with a smile and a beer!
