In a dim-lit room with snacks piled high,
Friends gather âround for a quest so grand,
Dice clatter loudly, each statement a sigh,
Unicorns prance as they munch on some brand,
But visions get blurry, and plans go awry,
When someone suggests a soft, fluffy hand.
âI wield my sword!â shouts a brave, bold rogue,
But the DM just chuckles, his eyes rolling wide,
âDude, you forgot that youâre still in the fog,â
As the paladin fumbles his dice on the side,
With munchies in hand, they all laugh and tow,
Their characters fly, but their focus they hide.
âNo! Not the goblins! Weâre here for the snacks!â
With chips in one hand, their rolls start to slip,
âWhatâs my armor class? Itâs all out of whack!â
Their friend on the couch offers them a sip,
Of sodaâbut wait, heâs lost in his phone,
As dragons swoop by, theyâre lost in the trip.
âI cast a fireball!â one player will yell,
But instead itâs a buttered toast flying round,
As kingdoms keep crumbling, chaos does swell,
Their laughter erupts, a sweet, joyful sound;
The pizzaâs now gone, but friendship wonât break,
Through battles and goofs, theyâre all glory-bound.
In roll after roll, epic fails they seek,
As snacks get devoured but not from the quest,
âOh no! I forgot where I hid all my gold!â
âYour stash is the fridge, donât let it digest!â
With eyes glazed like dragons, they settle down slow,
As the night becomes legend, no need to contest.
In the end, they toast with a soda and cheer,
âHuzzah to the journey, may more crumbs we find!â
And though their adventure was silly, not clear,
The memories linger, forever entwined;
In a haze of fine laughter, they bask for a while,
True rolls of their friendship, no need to rewind.
