Stoned and Baking: A High-Stakes Contest

In a town where the sunshine is always bright,
A baking contest was set for a Saturday night.
The judges were ready, the stakes oh so high,
But the competitors? Well, they were a bit sky-high.

First up was Tom, a chef with flair,
He mixed up his batter with meticulous care.
But mid-mix he pondered—what’s this spice called?
He added some lavender, then stood there enthralled.

Next came sweet Sue, with her cookies so bold,
She tossed in some cannabis—if truth be told.
“Is it a pinch or a pound?” she wondered aloud,
As her friends cheered her on from the back of the crowd.

Then Larry the baker, oh so wide-eyed,
Confused his baking soda for powdered tide!
“Both rise in the oven!” he giggled with glee,
As he created a cake that looked more like the sea!

But no one could top Greg with his brownies so thick,
He tossed in some nuts, said, “I’ll give it a kick!”
He meant jalapeños, but found chips instead,
“Oh well, that’s a flavor I’ll gladly spread!”

The oven timer chimed, it was finally the time,
To taste every entry, each sweet and bizarre rhyme.
The judges took bites with expressions so mixed,
One chewed on a brownie and thought he was hexed.

The winner announced, with a puff and a cheer,
Was Tom with his lavender, full of good cheer!
But little did he know, as he danced with delight,
The prize was a coupon for pizza at midnight.

So friends, if you bake and your mind starts to roam,
Remember this tale when you’re far from your home.
For a baking contest whilst hitting that T,
Is a recipe for laughter, oh so wild and free!
