In a town where the sun shone bright and merry,
Lived a parent named Bob, a little bit hairy.
His child, young Timmy, with curiosity wide,
Asked where trees grow that make people glide.
“Oh, my dear boy, it’s a plant so divine,
With magical leaves that can make you feel fine!
Let’s venture together, just you and me,
To a shop filled with treasures, come, you’ll see!”
So off they did trot, in the sun's gleam and glare,
To a store made of glass, the aroma in air.
“Now, Timmy,” said Bob, “this is serious business,
Choose your words wisely, avoid any witness!”
“What’s up, my dude?!” Bob called to the clerk,
“Just here for some greens, not much else at work.”
Timmy looked puzzled, his eyes all aglow,
“Dad, you sound funny, is that part of the show?”
Then off to the aisle where the goodies were stacked,
With jars full of buds, like a colorful pact.
“Which one should we pick, this one or that?”
“Just don’t touch the glass, or we might start a spat!”
Bob pondered aloud, “Now, is it sativa, or might it be indica blend?
Which one gives you giggles, and which one’s a friend?”
Timmy chimed in, “Is this like shopping for toys?
Can I have the one that brings out all the joys?”
“Aye,” Bob chuckled, “but remember, my son,
This is more than just fun; it’s a path to be spun.
Ask lots of questions, respect the fine art,
And whiff at the scents, let your nose take part!”
With choices aplenty, they finally did choose,
A flower named Giggleberry, how could they lose?
Bob grinned at the clerk, “We’ll take it, my mate!
Just don’t tell your mother—it’ll be our ‘great’ fate!”
Back home they did venture, with sweets in their grasp,
Timmy was thrilled, like a kid at a clasp.
“Dad, that was funny, can we do it again?
Can we learn about mushrooms? Maybe then, my friend?”
So thus ended their trip, a lesson so grand,
In the world of green, they made quite the stand.
With giggles and laughter, they shared in delight,
A parent and child, enjoying the night.
