Let’s take a ride to the land of green,
A place where visions are vivid, and giggles unseen.
“Do you want the gummies or the chocolate bars?”
“Just remember, my child, it’s not like candy from Mars!”
Opening the door, it’s like stepping through time,
Amidst all the riches, the smells are sublime.
“Look at those jars! So many colors and names!”
“Can I get a blue one? Is this all just a game?”
Voices are muffled, like whispers of fate,
“Just ask a kind budtender,” I say, feeling great.
But my little one stares with wide-eyed surprise,
“Do you think they can teach me to identify highs?”
Decisions are made, like picking a toy,
“Mom, why do you giggle? This isn’t just joy!”
With knowledge as currency, I shed some light,
“Just remember, dear child, it’s for grown-ups tonight!”
Finishing our visit, we’ve gathered our stash,
“Did we just go shopping in a green-laden bash?”
With laughter in our hearts and a lesson learned well,
We jumped back in the car and rang the school bell!
