The Zany Zookeeper's High Jinks

Each morning when the sun begins to rise,
A zookeeper arrives, but not quite in shape.
With twinkling eyes and a head in the skies,
He strolls to the lions, who think he's a grape.

He tosses their meatballs, but wait, what’s this?
He’s flinging some lettuce—oh, curse and dismay!
The monkeys all giggle, a feathery bliss,
As he thinks they’re performing some grand cabaret.

A sloth in the corner has mastered his pace,
While our zookeeper dances to music unheard.
He’s convinced that the cheetahs are losing their race,
As he gives them a lecture on running in herds.

So here’s to the zookeeper, high as a kite,
May his antics bring joy in the bright morning light!
