The Tipsy Tonic Tango

Oh, dear bartender in a cloud of bliss,
With bloodshot eyes, you stumble and hiss.
Upon your apron, the spills do gleam,
As you pour a cocktail that’s truly a dream.

Your hands may shake like a maraca’s beat,
As you muddle mint with a hint of retreat.
“Here’s your mojito!” you proudly proclaim,
But it’s more of a soup — oh, what a shame!

“What’s in this drink?” a patron will ask,
You blink, then reply, “A top-secret task!”
With giggles and grins, you toss in some sass,
“Bourbon or gin? Now don't be a lass.”

You’ll mix with a flourish, a spin, and a twirl,
But, dear patrons, what a dizzying whirl!
As you mix up the orders, what a sight to behold,
A “sex on the beach” — served warm, oh so bold!

And when the clock strikes, your shift comes to end,
You wave goodbye to your tipsy friends.
With a grin on your face, you stumble away,
Dreaming of cocktails for another long day.
