To teach my child about the green delight,
We strolled into a store, quite a bold move,
“Just walk with confidence, it’ll be all right,”
I said, as if I had something to prove.
“What’s this, Mom? It’s labeled 'Wedding Cake'?
Do people eat it, or does it just sound nice?”
“No dear, you smoke it, for laughter’s sake,”
I transitioned fast, like rolling dice.
The budtender chuckled, “What’s your wish today?”
My child was shy, then blurted, “I want fun!”
“Just don’t forget to check the price, okay? ”
I sighed, recalling what I’d just begun.
We left with goodies, laughs and grins in tow,
My child’s first lesson: the weed-buying glow!
