In fields of flowers, where bees hum sweet,
A beekeeper toils, his mind in a whirl,
His thoughts all tangled, like honey so thick,
He puffs on a joint, feeling light as the air,
With smoke swirling skyward, he grins like a fool,
"More honey for tea!" he shouts, arms in a twirl.
He waltzes with bees, a delightful ballet,
Yet trips on a flower, and spills all the goods,
His bees buzz in chorus, "What’s he smoking today?"
Confused, the hive murmurs, "We've lost all our woods!"
He lifts up a jar, but it’s filled with a snack,
His notion of honey: just cookies and buds!
He giggles at tassels, all golden and bright,
“Dear bees, play your part, I’ve got plans for a feast!"
But they swarm round his head, in a chaotic delight,
As he sways with the flowers, they think he’s a beast.
A honey VIP, with a crown made of leaves,
While reality buzzes, and memory flees.
With each passing minute, confusion takes flight,
The queen bee looks on, then smirks with a sting,
”You’d better get sober, or we'll take to the night!”
In his haze, he just laughs, “I’m the bee-king!”
As the sunlight fades, bees all tire and yawp,
And the world turns to honey, sweet dreams in a drop.
