In a smoky room, with laughter afloat,
The chessboards sparkled, the players remote.
With munchies in hand and minds set to roam,
They gathered for battle, but where were the combs?
Grandmaster Ganja, with his puff-puff flair,
Took forty-five minutes just to fix his hair.
His knights were all giggling, his pawns in a daze,
While the queen quipped, “My moves are a haze!”
Then came Lady Leaf, with her demeanor so fine,
She moved her pieces like they were sipping wine.
Her rook did a shuffle and danced on the board,
Her strategy, lost, but her humor adored.
“I swear, it’s a draw… or is that checkmate?”
Pondered both players, in a stony state.
They chuckled and cackled, forgot what was due,
As pawns formed a conga line, groovy and blue.
Time ticked away in a giggly trance,
While bishops reclined, refusing to dance.
“Let’s flip this board and just call it a night!”
Said one fuzzy knight, feeling quite light.
So the tournament ended, not one move was made,
With laughter and snacks, they enjoyed their charade.
A lesson was learned, amidst the green fog,
In chess, as in life, sometimes you just clog!
