The Joyful Journey to the Green Emporium

O, gather 'round, ye parents bold,
Of tales of trips, yet untold,
To teach the young about the leaf,
A journey packed with joy and grief.

In the car we ride, with giggles and grins,
The child asks, “Mom, where does this begin?”
“To the cannabis store, my dear, we shall roam,
For knowledge is wisdom, and this place feels like home!”

With a wink and a nod, we enter the gate,
The aroma of green, oh, it smells first-rate!
“Pick any strain!” I say with a cheer,

In the land of the bud, we marvel and gawk,
As prices mix with strange stoner talk.
“Is this the one that makes you feel bright?”
“Nay, my young sage, let’s find something light.”

With jars full of colors and names that confound,
“What’s a ‘Gorilla Glue’? Is it sticky or sound?”
We sift through the choices, with laughter and glee,
“Like choosing a pizza—what’s good with a tree?”

“O, there’s ‘Blue Dream’ and ‘Pineapple Express’!”
My child ponders deeply, “This leaf’s like a quest!”
And next to the counter, a sign brightly reads:
“Must be 21, so no kids and no steeds.”

With a bag full of goodies, we venture outside,
My heart swells with pride, like a merry old tide.
“Remember, my darling, this is just for fun,
Not like those veggies you try to outrun!”

So home we shall go, with knowledge in tow,
To share tales of green, and giggle and glow.
For in the end, what a glorious ride,
To teach them of flowers, with love and with pride!
