The Toked-Up Tango: A THC Dance-Off

In a hall bright with lights, where the laughter did soar,
Competitors gathered, all eager for more.
They’d partaken in herbs, with giggles and glee,
Each one mellowed out, as high as could be.

The DJ spun tracks, both funky and sweet,
While dancers in circles, swayed to the beat.
With moves like a jellyfish, smooth as a breeze,
One twirled on a toe and forgot all his knees.

The first up was Jerry, with a big old grin,
He entered the stage with a skip and a spin.
But halfway through his routine, he lost track of time,
And broke into laughter, forgetting the rhyme.

Then came sweet Lisa, with flower in hair,
She boogied and wiggled, without a care.
But mid-air cartwheel, she misjudged her flight,
And landed with grace on the judging cat’s sight!

Now Bob, he was groovy, he thought he could groove,
He aimed for a moonwalk, but what did he prove?
He slid ‘cross the floor, hit the snacks on the side,
And sent chips a-flying, then tripped, and then cried.

The crowd roared with laughter, at moves so absurd,
As each contestant boogied, their visions were blurred.
With high-fives and hugs, their joy filled the air,
For each little misstep had turned into a flair.

Then out came the judges, with scores in their hand,
But weighing the talent was harder than planned.
For what made a winner, in this hazy night?
Was it rhythm, or laughter? Or perhaps not quite right?

So they laughed and they danced till the morning light shone,
In this contest of fun, where all worries were blown.
For in the end, it’s not who takes home gold, or fame,
But the friendships we forge, and the joy laid to claim!
