In morning light, our zookeeper awoke,
A little too much "herb" from last night's toke.
He dressed in haste, donning mismatched shoes,
While visions of giraffes danced in his snooze.
Arriving late, he greeted the lion,
"Hey buddy! Want some snacks?" the beast was sighin'.
The parrot squawked, "You smell like a bowl!"
"Our friends are hungry," the hippo did roll.
He fed the monkeys—what a sight to see,
Bananas missing, he gave them his key.
To open the fridge for the snacks they craved,
But instead found a cake, which left him quite raved.
So laughter filled the air, as he took a slide,
Down a zipline, yelling, “I could use a ride!”
The animals chortled, the zookeeper grinned,
A day at the zoo where the fun never thinned!
