High and Mighty: A Professor's Daze

In lecture halls, he floats like air,
With eyes that sparkle, hazy and wide.
"Today’s lecture? Oh, I swear!"

His students gaze in curious stare,
As he forgets what he’d previously tried,
In lecture halls, he floats like air.

He talks of physics, or was it flair?
“Nah, let’s discuss the cosmic tide!”
“Today’s lecture? Oh, I swear!"

His lesson plan, a wild tale affair,
As questions fly, he can't help but slide.
In lecture halls, he floats like air.

With giggles and snacks, the classroom’s a fair,
“Grading assignments?” He’s filled with chide—
“Today’s lecture? Oh, I swear!"

But come exams, he’s caught in despair,
For knowledge fades, like dreams that wane wide.
In lecture halls, he floats like air,
“Today’s lecture? Oh, I swear!”
