The Highlympics: Where Dreams Float Like Dandelion Seeds

In Athens this year, the games took a turn,
With athletes ablaze, the THC burn.
They soared on their skates, they glided on air,
While munching on chips ‘neath the grand Olympic fair.

Boxers exchanged blows, yet forgot to engage,
As they giggled and clapped, lost in stoned rage.
The javelin soared, but not where it should,
It landed in snacks, oh how glorious they stood!

The hurdles were jumped—well, more like they tripped,
Over their own feet, sweet laughter erupted.
The sprinters’ laps turned to a slow, lazy crawl,
As they paused for a snack break, then took a grand fall.

Flame-wrapping torches were lit with a spark,
And the opening march became a slow lark.
So raise up your bongs, let the medals be gold,
For the Highlympics’ spirit is daring and bold!
