Two friends sit under the twinkling night,
With snacks and laughs, all rolled up quite tight.
They’re high on THC, what a curious sight!
“A poem!” one cries, “Let’s write our delight!”
Words tumble like dough, a whimsical flight,
They scribble and giggle, oh, what pure might!
Each line’s a treasure, though none feels just right,
“Is this truly poetry, or did we ignite?
Our thoughts like confetti, just memories bright.”
They ponder the moon and a taco in sight,
“Do you think birds envy our lyrical height?”
While pondering the cosmos, they reach for the light.
One friend is stuck on a limerick tight,
About a lost cat who took flight at midnight.
The other just laughs, “Let’s save that for night!”
And so they embark, with their hearts feeling light,
Two poets in orbit, in pure delight,
Creating bold verses on a whim and a bite.
