To teach my child, I thought, "Why not the shop?"
Where cannabis blooms, and giggles don't stop.
With maps of the strains, I led the way there,
And hoped that this journey would teach us to share.
In the bright little store, we ventured inside,
My child eyed the jars with wonder and pride.
“Is that broccoli green?” they curiously said,
As I stifled a laugh and scratched at my head.
“No, my dear, that’s grape, and here’s lemon zest,”
And thus began lessons of highs and of rest.
With a wink, I explained the wonders of pot,
While the budtender chuckled, “This kid's got the shot!”
We picked out some gummies—sweet, chewy, and bright,
My child squealed with glee, "This feels so just right!"
Out the door we stepped, with humor in hand,
Both excited for life and this strange, leafy land!
