Upon the forest floor, our laughter blooms,
With munchie bags and brownies stacked like tombs.
A campfire’s glow, our beacon from the night,
As squirrels plot schemes to steal our snacks in flight.
Oh, how we ponder as the stars align,
"Are bears just furry friends who drink cheap wine?"
A friendly debate ensues, smoke fills the air,
While one declares the moon is but a giant pear.
The lantern flickers, shadows dance, and sway,
As we compare our skills in five-sauce parfait.
We pitch the tent, or was it just a dream?
"I swear it had a door! Was that a scream?"
As we collapse, giggling, into our bags,
A raccoon arrives, swiping our last flags.
So here in the woods, high and feeling bold,
We toast friendship and stories yet untold.
