In a land of bytes and ones, where algorithms thrive,
An engineer sat coding, feeling oh-so-alive.
With THC in his system, creativity took flight,
He glanced at his screen, "Do I need to code tonight?"
His fingers danced on keys, like they were on a quest,
"Is it the code that’s broken, or my brain just a mess?"
Loops and variables swirled in his mind,
He typed “while” in a frenzy, then he spilled his drink—oh so unkind!
“Debugging’s a trip! It’s like finding a sock,”
He chuckled to himself, “Thanks, neighbor's loud rock!”
Comments in Spanish, a few lines in Klingon,
He saved it all proudly, named it: “Super Long Gone.”
The coffee was cold, but his jokes were quite hot,
"Why did the coder cross the road?" "I forgot!"
With brackets as boundaries, his thoughts were a maze,
He lost track of time in his digital haze.
His project unwrapped like a gift from the throne,
“Is this C++ or just a mobile phone?”
He passed out from laughter, a head full of dreams,
Coding while stoned is not quite what it seems.
So if you’re an engineer, take heed of this tale,
Avoid the green munchies when you code without fail.
For in the realm of variables, functions, and the like,
You might just end up compiling a T-Rex bike!
