The Zookeeper's Green Dream

In morning light, our zookeeper arrives,
With munchies packed and twinkle in his eyes.
To feed the lions, he forgets and jives,
While singing tunes from '70s lullabies.

He stumbles past the monkeys, cheeky tricks,
Who throw their snacks with glee, what a delight!
He laughs aloud, thinks he can do some tricks,
But promptly trips and rolls, oh what a sight!

“The hippos look so slim,” he gasps in shock;
Yet sees that they are just as plump as pies.
And when he attempts to feed the lucky flock,
He scatters seeds like stars across the skies.

With mildly wild antics, the day goes on,
He’s king of the zoo—at least in his yawn!
