The Zookeeper’s High-Flying Day

There once was a zookeeper named Clyde,
Who toked on some green before he’d glide.
With giraffes he’d chat,
And squirrels he’d pat,
In a cloud of sweet smoke, he’d abide.

He wandered through cages, eyes all a-glaze,
Thought he’d feed lions with flowers and mazes.
But they roared in surprise,
As he offered them fries,
“Not now, just chill, enjoy nature’s phase!”

He’d swing with the monkeys, trade jokes in the sun,
While they flung his cap, just for fun.
He’d giggle and sway,
In a blissful ballet,
As a parrot proclaimed, “You’re number one!”

But then came the call, “Where are the snakes?”
Clyde scratched his head, “Did they bake cakes?”
In a mist of good cheer,
“I’ll pet them, don’t fear,”
Meanwhile, the anaconda just shakes.

So here’s to the zookeeper’s stoned escapade,
With animals smiling, his worries delayed.
Just remember the lore,
If you try this galore,
You better bring snacks, or you might get outplayed!
