Oh, what a sight at the crack of dawn,
With critters and creatures, all yawning, withdrawn.
But here comes our keeper, a grin ear to ear,
With a flick of his lighter, he’s ready to cheer!
His pockets are full of a sweet, leafy stash,
And the monkeys all chuckle, "He’s here for a bash!"
He feeds them some snacks while still chasing the haze,
“Now, don’t throw your bananas; it’s too early for plays!”
The lion, perplexed, gives a sultry, slow blink,
As our zookeeper mumbles, “What’s the color of pink?”
He slips on some mud, yells, “Like, I’m totally fine!”
While the hippos just dance to the beat of his mind.
He graffitis the fence with a colorful meme,
As the parrots repeat all his far-out daydreams.
“Dude, you’re all part of my cosmic, wild trip!”
And the snakes roll their eyes, oh, they’re tired of this quip.
Now the time clocks are ticking, the public arrives,
But our zookeeper's lost in his psychedelic vibes.
He’s chatting with turtles who nod in agreement,
While the elephants ponder the meaning of treatment.
With a wave of his hand and a heart full of glee,
He bids them farewell, “What a zoo, can’t you see?”
As he stumbles back home, with a laugh and a sigh,
Let’s just hope his next shift, he chooses to fly high!
