The High-minded Professor: A Hazy Lecture

Oh, Professor Green, with hair askew,
You come to class, visions askew.
A haze of wisdom, or was it last night’s pie?
Your students glance, a giggle slips by.

“Today we’ll discuss quantum mechanics,” you say,
But your thoughts drift to pizza, then dance away.
“A particle’s wave—like my mind, in a spin!”
They roll their eyes, and the laughter begins.

With chalk in hand, like a wand of delight,
You scribble some formulas, but oh, what a sight!
“E equals MC… something, or maybe it’s cheese?”
The classroom erupts, “Please, Professor, don’t tease!”

You muse on relativity, lost in your dream,
“Einstein’s the dude with the hair like a beam!”
While students are snickering, taking notes on their phones,
You ponder deep questions about cosmic stones.

“And what if the universe is made of good vibes?”
You ask, while they snicker and roll up their scribes.
“Like gravity holds us, and love tugs at our heart,”
They all nod their heads, though you lost them at art.

As the bell’s final jingle rings through the air,
You wave them goodbye with a half-friendly stare.
“Don’t forget your homework, or what we discussed…”
They all flee the room, a wild cacophony of trust.

Oh, High-minded Professor, to you we’ll hold dear,
For the laughter you bring, and the wisdom unclear.
In halls of academia, where seriousness dwells,
You light it up bright with your foggy-brained spells!
