The High-spirited Professor: A Ballad of Breezy Lectures

In a campus bright and filled with glee,
Professor Bob, as high as a tree,
Rushed to class with a dazed, merry grin,
Unbeknownst to him, the chaos would begin.

His lecture notes were a sight to behold,
Written in doodles, and stories quite bold,
He started on Kant, then veered to his cat,
The students all giggled, “What’s up with that?”

“Now, if we ponder this question of life,”
He mused while munching on leftover pie,
“And why does it feel like my brain’s in a stew?”
That’s when they knew he’d inhaled, it’s true!

The whiteboard, once clean, now adorned with a fish,
As he claimed fish sociology was his secret wish,
With markers of colors both vivid and bright,
He explained how they swam in the depths of the night.

“And what’s the sum of i and pi, you say?”
He stared at the students; they laughed all the way,
“It’s infinity, right? Or was that just last week?”
He winked and said, “Y’all can help me, you geeks!”

The bell rang like magic, the end of his spell,
Professor Bob thought he’d taught quite so well,
But as he packed up, he looked back with a grin,
“Did we learn about fish? Or were we just swimming in?”

So cherish the moments when laughter’s not shy,
And pray for your teachers who sometimes get high,
For wisdom is flowing, like clouds in the blue,
In the classroom of knowledge, we all are just a few!
