The Professor's Potent Predicament

In lecture halls where knowledge should ignite,
A college prof, with glassy eyes so bright,
Forgot his morning coffee for a toke,
As wisdom slipped, and logic went up in smoke.

His students stifled giggles, took their notes,
While he expounded on the merits of boats,
But veered to space, then lost track of the time,
And pondered if the moon was made of lime.

With chalk in hand, he drew a doodle map,
Of how to navigate the perfect nap;
He spoke of algorithms, then turned to plants,
Proposing that they too deserve their grants.

The bell rang loud, as minds began to close,
Yet there he stood, as lost as garden gnomes,
So let this tale remind all those who teach:
To stick to coffee, lest your thoughts impeach!
