In a field where the sun shone bright and high,
Competitors gathered, giggling with glee,
They prepared for a contest, pies stacked in a row,
With crusts crisp and fluffy, like clouds on a spree.
Each contestant was loaded, feeling quite spry,
Munching on snacks, fueled by THC tea.
One gentleman, Chuck, declared with a loud sigh,
“I can eat more than all of you; just wait and see!”
He dove into cherry, his fork in a whirl,
“Delicious!” he shouted, as he tripped on a bee,
While Sue next to him let out a wistful cry,
“Is this even real? Or just pie in a dream?”
The crowd roared with laughter, the judge’s eyes dry,
“Keep eating!” he hollered, as they fought for their spree.
But pies flew like frisbees, all gooey and bright,
Eyes bulging wide like an eager TV,
The whipped cream would land on the judge—oh me, oh my!
“It's just a little squirt, I hope you agree!”
As slices disappeared, the competition did lie
In laughter and crumbs; oh, what could it be?
Each contestant was lost in a sugary trance,
With each bite, their thoughts drifted out to the sea,
“More pie, more pie,” they would all chant and cry,
With each sugary morsel, a giggle set free.
The clock ticked onward, they raced ‘neath the sky,
While Chuck's face turned pink, and Sue lost her knee,
“Oh dear, oh dear, am I still alive?”
“Just an illusion,” replied Billy, with glee,
As he flattened a pie like a heaving Hi-Fi,
"Is this even food? Or just sentient debris?”
In the end, they sat back, their bellies awry,
With remnants of berry and crumbs by the tree,
They crowned Chuck the champion, much to everyone’s shock,
“Let’s celebrate!” he toasted, with pie crust as a key,
The day ended well, with pie and some high,
As they laughed and they snacked, in perfect harmony.
