The High Steppers' Hootenanny: A THC Dance-Off

In a town where the sunsets catch fire,
The stoners gathered, fueled by desire.
With munchies in hand and giggles in tow,
A dance contest awaited, oh what a show!

The night was electric, the lights filled the air,
As they puffed on their buds without a care.
With bodies all swaying and rhythms so fine,
Who knew the green could inspire such a line?

First up was Jimmy, with moves all his own,
He spun like a ballerina, then fell on a cone.
“To the left!” he shouted, then forgot where to go,
But hey, he just laughed, “This is part of the flow!”

Next was dear Sally, her hair in a bun,
With a dab of the wax, she thought she was done.
She wiggled and jiggled, hip-hop right to the moon,
Until she lost track of the beat, and a spoon!

Then Charlie contested, his swagger supreme,
He moonwalked on clouds like he danced in a dream.
“Ow! Did I step on a glimmer?” he cried with surprise,
While the crowd cheered him on, stoned love in their eyes.

As the night unfolded, the laughter grew thick,
With stoned judges bickering—who was the pick?
“Three cheers for the ankle that twisted, I say!
Though I can’t feel my face, I’d like to sway!”

Finally, grand finale, the crowd all took flight,
In a conga line serpent, they danced into the night.
With giggles and snacks, their spirits ran free,
In this wacky dance-off, they all agreed:

That when friends, and the herb, and a beat come together,
The dance moves might flop, but the joy lasts forever.
So let’s spark up a tune, and raise up a cheer,
For the high steppers’ hootenanny—best night of the year!
