In fields where golden honeycombs sway and gleam,
Our beekeeper arrives, a gleeful and fuzzy sight,
With pockets stuffed with flowers, he laughs in a dream,
His thoughts dance like bees, taking off in flight.
He hums to the hives, a most curious tune,
Oblivious to stings beneath the midday light.
“Oh look at them buzzing,” he chuckles with glee,
“Such hard-working workers, they must love to play!”
He flits through the yard—he’s as happy as can be,
As the bees form a hive, not a single delay.
“A pinch of this pollen, a dab of pure zest,
Just what every bee needs for a wild, sunny day!”
He stumbles on flowers—oh wait, what’s that there?
Is it a hive or a fancy bouquet?
With a foot in the clover, he twirls in mid-air,
And the bees shimmy close, “Please, join our ballet!”
With visions of honey dancing in his thoughts,
He busts out a jig, they all follow the sway.
Yet suddenly, buzzing grows frantic and loud,
A bee flies right past him, a real shock to the core,
“Little friend, can’t you see I’m a star of the crowd?
Please don’t give a buzz like you’re ready for war!"
He sways with a smile, “I’m high, don’t you know?
All this honey’s gone straight to my head—gotta pour!”
As the day drifts along in its nectar-filled haze,
He finds himself lost in the most whimsical scheme,
“Let’s brew up some honey, we’ll celebrate praise,
With puffs of sweet flowers, you know what I mean!”
With the bees all a-dancing, he offers a cheer,
A buzz from his hives sounds like laughter—a dream!
Now the sun sets on fields and the bees start to hum,
He yawns and he stretches, what a magical flight.
For tomorrow he’ll bring not just honey, but fun,
A day that begins with some giggles and light.
Our high-flying beekeeper, and his buzzing crew,
Will surely make honey, sweet laughter, and twilight!
