The Stoner's Garden: A Growing Comedy

In a closet where the sunlight barely peeked,
I planted seeds with dreams of getting high,
But all I got was a plant that looked freaked.

Water, nutrients, I followed each cheat,
Yet somehow my green got a lump in the eye,
In a closet where the sunlight barely peeked.

My friends all said, “Dude, it’s so unique!”
While I just hoped it wouldn’t say goodbye,
But all I got was a plant that looked freaked.

The leaves were twisted like pretzels so sweet,
A horticultural fail that made me sigh,
In a closet where the sunlight barely peeked.

I trimmed and I pruned, oh, I had no technique,
As buds appeared, I thought, “Man, I could fly,”
But all I got was a plant that looked freaked.

At harvest time, my joy turned to bleak,
What ended up in my bowl made me cry,
In a closet where the sunlight barely peeked,
But all I got was a plant that looked freaked.
