In a kitchen bright with urgency and flair,
The bakers gathered, laughter hanging in the air.
With pots and pans and giggles high,
They whisked their dreams beneath the sky.
One brought brownies, gooey and stout,
While another's cookies looked ready to pout.
"A pinch of this, a dab of that,"
Said a chef in a tie-dye hat, feeling quite phat.
The judge, a stoner with a gaze so deep,
Peered at the cakes, craving a sweet leap.
"Is that pesto I smell, or just my mind?"
He pondered aloud—his concentration in a bind.
As ovens popped and timers rang,
The contestants danced, and the spatulas sang.
“Did I add the eggs, or was that just a hunch?”
A baker cried, “Let’s all just munch!”
With frosting so green and sprinkles galore,
They crafted their treats, then fell to the floor.
“Why is it sticky?” one asked with a grin,
“Did I bake with love or did I just bake sin?”
When time was up, the plates devoid,
They gathered around, each one overjoyed.
“Your cake was a cloud!” “A delight on a plate!”
Declared the judge, then begged for a fate.
So next year, we’ll gather with flour and zest,
In the Great Baked-Off, the absolute best!
With a little more focus—and maybe some snacks—
We’ll feast on our treats, and perhaps some lax.
