In a town where munchies reign supreme,
A contest brewed under the warm sun's beam,
The participants, giggling, were high as the sky,
With pies stacked high they were ready to try,
To swallow and savor each scrumptious slice,
As laughter erupted, "This pie tastes so nice!"
They lined up in rows, all squinty and bright,
Mouths full of blueberry, maybe some bright white,
With forks made of rubber, sandwiches of cheer,
One contestant yelled, "Man, I can’t even steer!"
Another, confused, just stared at his plate,
"Is this pie supposed to taste like fate?"
A judge with a grin, a real jolly fellow,
Said, "You must keep eating, don’t be a bellow!"
But the crowd all erupted, one fell from his seat,
“My pie’s made of clouds, and this crust is so sweet!”
Oh the whipped cream was dancing, oh the laughter was thick,
As competitors wrestled with their lightheaded trick.
One fellow declared, “I’m a real pie pro!”
But he smeared blueberry all over his toe,
“Yo, look at this fountain!” he proclaimed in delight,
As the whipped cream splattered and took off in flight,
A pie-riffle of laughter erupted in cheer,
“Welcome to Pie-Topia, our dreams have come near!”
Round after round, they indulged in their feast,
With giggles that echoed, becoming quite beast,
“Can someone hand me the pie, or at least a good chat?”
“Mmm, what if we put some catnip with that?”
The camaraderie soared, through each sugary bite,
While some thought the crust might just take off in flight.
As the final round ended, and plates all were bare,
They cheered with great joy, and puffed sweet fresh air,
Though the winner was crowned—oh, the prize was a cake,
“To next year’s contest, for goodness' sweet sake!”
With smiles and with pies, they wandered away,
“In this ganja pie contest, we’ll all win a day!”
