In the lecture hall, he sways with glee,
His students gaze, caught in the fog,
As he forgets the words for “kinetic energy,”
Spouting theories from the hip, like a rogue mug,
He fumbles equations wrapped in laughter,
"Oh, gravity’s just a social construct, bro!"
He grins, eyes twinkling like twinkies in the sun,
With snacks hidden deep in his desk’s dark chasm,
"Let's take a break, this convo’s too much fun!"
He forgets their names, calls them all ‘Samantha’—
They giggle, taking notes like it’s free-form jazz,
While he debates if dogs could ever be the next ‘Magma.’
Time slips, the bell rings, and he’s now on a roll,
“To study is great, but self-care is key,”
As he launches into tales of his high school soul.
This wasn’t the syllabus, but who could feel peeved?
“Live your best life!” he exclaims with delight,
Leaving them freestyling equations like a movie spree.
On the board, doodles replace ancient Greek,
“Look at the triangles, they’re just like us!”
He covers Pythagoras with a rainbow streak,
Praising the shapes with an effortless trust,
“Friendship equals friendship, it’s math in its prime!”
And the class responds with a chorus of “Dude, what?”
As he winds down, mantras float in the air,
“Knowledge is power, and power’s a feast,”
“He who smokes weed is truly rare—“
Setting the stage for a cool professor beast.
They leave with a smile, unsure of the score,
But well-fed with wisdom, at least a wee bit increased.
The bell tolls again, the day’s had its fun,
A waltz through concepts, high thoughts like a kite,
He strolls out the door, a true number one,
With munchies and musings and newfound insight,
“Don’t forget the homework!” his echoing plea,
As he wanders away, blissfully lost in the night.
