In hazy realms where time doth lose its grip,
A pair did sit with snacks, a worthy feast,
With cannabis, they took the fateful sip,
And soon forgot what minutes ’twas they’d ceased.
“What time is it?” she asked, with goofy glee,
He squinted hard, quite serious, and paused,
“An age ago, dear friend, it seems to be,
Or perhaps it’s time we’ve no right to cause!”
They pondered life, the bend of stretch and pull,
With munchies piled like mountains in their midst;
Each chomp a thought, each giggle a full tool,
Till minutes turned to hours in a twist.
When finally they rose, the sun had fled,
“Did we just time travel?” he cracked with dread.
