In morning light, our zookeeper arrives,
With munchies on his mind and bloodshot eyes.
He waves to monkeys swinging from the hives,
And laughs aloud—“Those chimps are rather sly!”
He feeds the lions steak—oh wait, it’s hay?
“Don’t be so picky, buddy, it’s gourmet!”
A parrot squawks, “You’re not the boss today!”
He replies, “You’re right, let’s squawk and play!”
With every step, he hopes the rhinos dance,
And teaches turtles how to break a trance.
He twirls with penguins, lost in his romance,
While gazelles giggle, throwing him a glance.
But soon the sun begins to set so low,
He stumbles, fumbles—socks on the wrong toe!
Yet every critter loves their zookeeper,
For laughter shared is always the best keeper!
